Product Owner

CINFRACS Inc. has an opening for a Product Owner at our main office in Hoffman Estates, IL and resource might need to travel to client location as requested by client within U.S.A.  

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements 
• Create and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it is properly groomed and prioritized 
• Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features 
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities 
• Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap to internal teams 
• Gather feedback from customers and end-users to continuously improve the product 
• Define and track key metrics to measure the success of the product 

Experience & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban 
• Experience working as a Product Owner or similar role in software development projects 
• Proficiency in using project management tools like Jira for backlog management and sprint planning 
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, including waterfall and agile methodologies 
• Ability to create user stories, wireframes, and mockups using tools like Balsamiq or UML diagrams 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify user needs and translate them into product requirements 
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients 
• Experience in mobile application development is a plus

Education:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems or related field

Work Location & Physical Requirements:

• This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.  
• The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
