Lead Software Engineer

CINFRACS Inc. has an opening for a Lead Software Engineer at our main office in Hoffman Estates, IL and resource might need to travel to client location as requested by client within U.S.A. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Install, configure, and enhance Alteryx server platform. Works closely/collaboratively with business and other technology teams. 
• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact. 
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines. 
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs. 
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors. 
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. 
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. 
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor.

Experience & Knowledge:

• Implementation / Configuration of third party applications across Windows/Linux 
• End to end troubleshooting abilities 
• Experience with ansible or similar product 
• Experience with GitHub 
• CI/CD experience 
• MongoDB 
• Python a plus

Education:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or Management Information Systems or related field

Work Location & Physical Requirements:

• This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.  
• The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
